Well, the only proved method so far was to die - then you get it all.

There is no way to know! You will have the occasional person who has experienced the "light" at the end of the tunnel! Near death experiences! But the only thing i can tell you is this!
Having faith is the best thing! Your not suppose to know for sure! That is what faith is!
If you believe that they exist and that if you truely believe confessing your sins and asking for forgiveness and not just talking to god when you need something! Thats all that matters what YOU believe! Dont let anyone ifluence your views or opinions! Cause does it honestly matter what we all think? No it doesnt!

Id rather have faith in something that doesnt exist! Then to live my life misguided without a hope and a prayer!

God created heaven for spirits and the earth, He created for mankind. Hell was created by man.......the Bible hell is mankind common grave or the ground where he came from........When man dies he goes back to the ground where he came from and his thoughts do parish.........it's like before you were born, knowing nothing and feeling nothing. The Bible talks about some going to heaven to rule as kings and priest with Jesus, but the majority will be resurrected on earth where Gods purpose was for man to live.

Do you honestly think someone here on Yahoo Answers knows for sure if heaven and hell exist? It's something you either believe based on faith or don't believe. There's not any scientific way to determine for sure.

Read the Bible, there's an answer for every question if you jusst seek it out. Heaven and Hell exsist because I have faith and I believe that God made Heaven, and God made Hell.

This is a fair question. I personally believe that heaven and hell exist. I have arrived at this conclusion after reading my Bible and reading some books. It is a matter of personal faith.

well Xavier the point in religions is to believe in things that can't be proved in this life...but if we assume heaven is a good place and hell is a bad one then maybe heaven is all the good feelings that exist in your soul and hell is all the feelings you consider to be bad..

You can't be sure in any observable way. Heaven and hell are supernatural concepts -- above nature -- so they are by definition unavailable to natural proof or disproof. Their existence or nonexistence is a matter of faith (either way).

It's just something some guy made up around several thousand years ago, suddenly they were angry because of gay people were stealing their jobs so the guy wrote "god does not like gay people, he likes people like me, ones that are straight; i am going to heaven where you can't even imagine."
and then if you don't believe him then he says "you are going to hell."

Well, I guess you'll just have to take Jesus at his word on this .

He said hell is a real place of real pain and sorrow....so I have to believe him....no one else I know has been there.....

He also knows about heaven ....I believe he is right.
