I hope you mean poaching. Yes, you can. But you can easily overcook it. The water used for poaching can also be made into a sauce. Chicken is done when the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. Pork will be done between 155 to 165, I would take it out sooner because it will continue to cook.
The key to poaching is to bring the liquid to boil then reduce the temperature to simmer. Temperature will be about 190ish.

I boil pork chops and they are tender and delicious. Trim fat, season water. I cook for one, so I put chop, frozen or thawed, into quart pan of boiling seasoned water. Add onion, celery. Boil/simmer 30 minutes. Take chop out with a fork, add pasta to the boiling water and cook 10 to 12 minutes. Accompany with green veggie or salad.
When I make this, I make enough pasta to have mac and tuna salad the next day.

You can boil pork chops, but I don't think you will like the results. They will not have any flavor and will be tough. Boiling does not tenderize meat . The carmilization that occurs when they are fried or grilled is where the flavor is developed.

Yes, boil them for the same amount of time as chicken. First, marinade them in something yummy. Then boil them in the marinade and water. You can make a sauce or gravy or smother them in onions if you'd like.
