The Olympic Cafe in Lihue makes mac nut pancakes that are absolutely to die for and at very reasonable prices, too. They were so good we ate there twice over the course of a week vacation.

Be sure to get out to waimaia (?) canyon. You can hike to that enormous waterfall from Jurassic Park. And on the side of the mountain is the wettest spot on earth. Sorry no restaurant really stands out in my memory.

I went to this place called Lulu's...they have the best Mahi Mahi Reuben...when i got back to the mainland, i called the restaurant to get the recipe, and got it...yum....

No restaurants - but the zip line adventure was awesome. (Backroad adventures).
