Because they would rather believe what they want to believe, hence as you can see, in their deliberate extreme ignorance about the science of evolution, they circulate any old lies to con themselves and others. Like kids screaming 'Santa IS true, Santa IS true, cos cos...'. Except more messed up. If one lie is exposed, they just switch to another, and another and another and another... Their messed up minds hide from the reality of their own thought processes by projecting their flaws away from them, on to their perceived enemy. Like it is evolution which is the religion, a creation myth, illogical. And of course, latch on to unhinged ideas about it all being a conspiracy against them.
Arrogance is a big part of it. Like, as you say, being on the same level as animals. The Earth being billions of years old, like it not being the centre of the universe, also offends them. But the root of the problem is the way that many sects glorify blind belief. It's a very effective means of mind control - pride in blind belief, pride in what you blindly believe in. Hence any info which seems to contradict those blind beliefs is perceived as a huge personal threat. They'll go to any extent to maintain their ego.
Yes, it is mind-numbingly ignorant/stupid/arrogant to think, even if the bible WAS the 100% truth when it was written down in a primitive language of few words, that 1000's of years later, with huge evolution in language, and translations, that their interpretation of those words is strict truth (their convenient interpretation of those words often too).

I do not think your assent is correct about the bible, yet all of us question how could this be. But the big bang theory is not the answer and if it is than god is still telling the truth, he made Adam from dirt, so would the bang theory. I know you here what came first the chicken or the egg. Now let me put it this way for humans, what came first the seed of man or the womb. Clearly god said the seed came first with the creation of Adam. Now in the evolution theory what came first. The seed of man or the womb

1) According to evolutionists, Humans evolved from apes? Humans are apes by definition. Linnaeus classified us as such and he was a creationist. 2) There are many proven facts in science, but evolution is just a theory. False due to a misunderstanding of the word theory. A fact, in science, is a discrete point of information. Theories connect facts and explain them. There is no higher classification than theory. 3) A transitional form is a fossil of an animal that is part one species and part another. False. All organisms are transitional. 4) The age of the earth is determined by scientists solely through the radioactive dating of fossils ? The age of the Earth was determined by dating a meteor on the assumption that the Solar System was all the same age. All other calculations fit the age found. 5) The scientific method begins with a prediction and then looks for evidence to support that prediction? It begins with observation. Then a hypothesis is formed from that observation. After the hypothesis is formed, scientists look for evidence to support or falsify the hypothesis. 6) The theory of evolution includes the Big Bang? False. 7) To believe in evolution is to believe that life and matter came from nothing? False.

The Theory of macro-evolution, that a fish became a frog that became a prince is a joke. Here's what some scientists have said about it.
"The Darwinian theory of descent has not a single fact to confirm it in the realm of nature. It is not the result of scientific research, but purely the product of imagination."—*Dr. Fleischman [Erlangen zoologist].
"It is almost invariably assumed that animals with bodies composed of a single cell represent the primitive animals from which all others derived. They are commonly supposed to have preceded all other animal types in their appearance. There is not the slightest basis for this assumption."—*Austin Clark, The New Evolution (1930), pp. 235-236.
"The hypothesis that life has developed from inorganic matter is, at present, still an article of faith."—*J.W.N. Sullivan, The Limitations of Science (1933), p. 95.
"'The theory of evolution is totally inadequate to explain the origin and manifestation of the inorganic world.' "—Sir John Ambrose Fleming, F.R.S., quoted in H. Enoch, Evolution or Creation (1966), p. 91 [discoverer of the thermionic valve].
"The particular truth is simply that we have no reliable evidence as to the evolutionary sequence . . One can find qualified professional arguments for any group being the descendant of almost any other."—J. Bonner, "Book Review," American Scientist, 49:1961, p. 240.

**First off, the Bible is not full of "made up" stories. It is the absolute truth!
Evolution doesn't add up.It doesn't make any sense at all.. You can't say that the world came to be "by chance".
Look at the human body. It is so intricate, complicated and detailed. Do think that "just happened"???? It had to have a master designer.
Look at the earth and the position of it. It is in the perfect position, if it were much closer to the sun, we would burn, do you think that "just happened" that the earth would just land in the right spot? No, God made it that way!
and if humans really came from apes, why aren't there any apes turning into people these days? Did the evolving just stop? no, Gos created us!

Evolution does not threaten my faith period. I accept evolution and I live to serve God. I see no contradiction.
But let’s not be too quick to throw out the story of Adam and Eve. Being one who accepts both evolution and Faith in God I have spent some time studying the story. I find many things of true value. I won’t go into all of that now, but one example, if all Christians would try to understand our roll as caretakers of this planet as explained in Genesis, we might begin to turn around the ecological mess we have made of things.
Whether the Christian believes in the literal reading of the story or accepts evolution, it is worth understanding all that is to be gleamed from the first chapters of Genesis. This is a story about far more than creation.

Probably because it is unproven athestic philosophy and not true science.
And I cant believe that people either comment on the Bible when theyve never read all of it or read all of it and refuse to believe. Go figure.
The atheistic propaganda machine has programmed you well. There isnt a doubt in your mind! Show me one shred of evidence that proves we came from a single celled organism!
Dogma is a problem, especially for the atheists dogma of evolution. Our kids arent even allowed to hear the other side in schools. They are completely lockdown to believe in atheistic philosophy or are branded as an anti-science idiot.
It hasnt happened yet because naturalistic evolution is an assumption made by atheistic scientists and elitists and not true science.
Whats wrong if we are just big dumb animals with no God? Then we will behave like big dumb animals and abandon God as many atheists have done.
We hold onto that theory because the one that told us it is not a liar and has proven himself over and over to us. He has also proved the people wrong over and over that are lying to you telling you you came from a germ in order to justify their sin, or so they think. Atheists believe that if they rationalize God out of the picture, that they will have a proper excuse on judgment day IF they are wrong.

There are several reasons why I cannot accept evolution as fact.
1) DNA : It has been proved that the creation of DNA, the building block of life, is mathematically and scientifically impossible without divine intervention.
2) The holes: evolutionists seem to accept as natural and scientifically sound the fact that there are unexplainable holes in their theory. Unfortunately for them, they are only practicing bad science in order to prove a faulty finding.
3) The founder of evolutionist thought, Charles Darwin, was himself a Christian who was seeking to better understand God's creation NOT deny His existence.
4) Where is all the money going in this debate? I have learned that in order to find the truth you must follow the money to its source. If you do for the evolution vs creation debate, you will find the vast majority of grants, doctorates and benefit packages for research goes to those who are actively pursuing the evolutionist path.

That's our education system for you! For the record, the reason evolution is a "theory" is because all parts of it are not proven as fact yet, parts of our evolutionary advances have been proven and we can go to any museum and see the evidence for ourselves. A scientific theory is something which is impossible to prove wrong, but parts within the theory can change as we gain more scientific knowledge. What about the theory of gravity? Are there any non-believers out there? AND REMEMBER POPE JOHN PAUL II PUBLICALLY ADMITTED HE BELIEVED EVOLUTION WAS THE WAY THE WORLD WAS CREATED AND YOU CAN BELIEVE IN GOD AND STILL HAVE A LOVE FOR EVOLUTION.
P.S. it makes me really angry when people who don't believe in evolution attack carbon dating when it's used to date ancient fossils, but jump on the bandwagon when someone is trying to prove a biblical story.

If you were told something was the absolute truth since the day you were born, then someone suddenly told you it wasn't true, would you believe them?
These people are completely deluded by a lie that has survived thousands of years.
No amount of physical evidence will convince them otherwise.
