I haven't used a pressure cooker for years. My father was a volunteer ambulance driver in my home town and someone he knew had a pressure cooker blow up in his face. His face was in such bad shape my father didn't even recognize him when he was attending to him. I haven't used a pressure cooker since that day. Please be careful and make sure your cooker is in good running order. Good Luck
