Oakland Community College, Ferris State University, Macomb County Community College. All of these have criminal justice programs. Check their web sites.

Any degree from any accredited college will work fine. Take classes you are interested in...
The Academy will teach you what you need to know to be a cop. A degree just makes yo more well rounded.

If your under 21...Go to your local Dept and ask about the explorer program!!!
It's for people between 14-21 who wants a career as a Cop/Deputy and it's a good way to get your foot in the door for law enforcement!!!

all u need is 2 go get a crimnal justice dgree and go 2 the acadmy it also helps if uy have firefighter 1 and 2 hazmat and paramedic cause u would be more valuble i am going for the same thing

Any College degree is desirable...Honorable Dicharge from Arm Forces...looks very good..specially if you done Military Police duty, Courses on Criminal Justice will be very helfull... Very Important is to do not have criminal record, and your present mental status.. through tests will provide the information needed if you will able to cary and execute your dailly POLICE DEPT. pressures & duties ...and if will be able to cary and use fire-arms., now and later..Now if you have one or more members of your familly... that is or are members of a POLICE DEPT. his, hers or their recomendations will be very valuable to push your dream through...As they say is not what you know...is who you know...and then you will have to pass the tests that the Dept. will provide for you to pass...before you become a member of the POLICE ACADEMY.- Your Phusical Apearence and Abilities are very important including your driving record and abilities. Fat ...slow mooving aplicants never make it.

you could always ask a cop what colleges he thinks has a good criminal justice program and he will tell you which colleges have a good program
