Crispy Chewy Oatmeal Cookies
A crisp, yet chewy, oatmeal cookie sure to please even the pickiest of cookie connoisseurs! Feel free to add what you like to your cookies...cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins, walnuts, etc.
3 cups quick oats
1 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
1cup firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup butter flavor shortening
¼ cup stick margarine, softened
1 egg, lightly beaten
¼ cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Preheat oven to 350° F.
In a medium bowl, combine oats, flour, salt, baking soda, and (optional) cinnamon.
Mix well and set aside.
In a large bowl, beat brown sugar, granulated sugar, butter flavor shortening, and margarine until creamy.
Add the egg, water and vanilla. Beat until well mixed.
Add the oat mixture to the wet mixture all at once. Mix well to combine.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Let cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute before placing on a wire rack. Let cool completely before storing in a covered container.

Chicken Ritz Casserole
Ingredients:
5-6 chicken breasts, cooked
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cheddar broccoli soup
about 1/4 soup can of milk
1-1/2 c. sour cream
2 c. cooked minute rice (1 c. prior to cooking)
dash salt and pepper
30 to 40 Ritz crackers, crumbled
Butter
Cooking Instructions:
Cook chicken and remove chicken from bone and cut up. Place chicken in casserole dish. Mix together remaining ingredients. Pour mixed ingredients over chicken. Top with crushed Ritz crackers; dot with butter. Bake at 350F. for 45 mins.

I agree, All recipes.com and also Kraft foods .com
Both of these sites send me cookbooks and I love it.
It is real food for real people and not the fancy stuff no-one ever cooks.
