Just be their for him. If he wants to talk about it then talk about it with him. Be very considerate of what he is going through.

First of all, TLC is just Tender Loving Care.

Unfortunately, there is nothing that anyone can do when there is a death to a family member. The ONLY thing you can do
is to say that you are so sorry for his loss and that while there
is nothing you can do to help him.....you want him to know that
you are there for him......if he needs anything......to talk, a hug,
or just someone to sit silently with him.

Also, I dont know your boyfriend, but I do know that sometimes
it is best not to say anything........just be there. GIve him a hug
and say "I am so sorry for you loss"....then sit with him. If/when
he wants to talk........he will.

So you know what your boyfriend would respond better to, but
whatever you do DON'T TRY and force communication or quite
or anything......just be there.

be a friend first, then the supportive gf. lend him your shoulder to lean on and listen to him, don't cut him off, just let him vent his feelings.
