me and my girlfriend have been dating for 3 weeks. first off, is there any length of time that is the "no kiss zone" so to speak? and second, how exactly is the correct way to go in for the first kiss?

Just remember this, hombre: she's going to put it in her DIARY. That, and she's gonna tell all her girlfriends about it, who'll tell theirs, so forth and so on. So when you go to kiss her, you're not only kissing her, but the whole school! No pressure, guy, just realize that it could dictate how girls looks at you for the rest of your school life. Good luck and don't blow it!!!
But seriously, kiss goodnight to her HAND, the top part of it and take it from there, hombre.

No, there is not a specific length of time (in my opinion) in a "no kiss zone". Whenever it happens, it happens. Now to the actual kiss, I'd like to think that you should start up a conversation that involves some aspect of a loving and caring relationship. Trust me, there will be a break in the convo where there is silence (but not awkwardness). That is when you lean toward her and go in for that kiss. But it also depends on what her personality is like. Is she the romantic type? The dirrty dirrty type? Or just old fashioned traditional type? Figure that out first, that way you know you're not going to make a total jack-*** out of yourself when you do finally go in for that infamous kiss of yours. One more thing, DON'T RUSH IT. If she is the traditional/old fashioned type, she will instantly look at you like you're trying to get in her pants right away. Not a good thing. Good luck! Let me know if I was of any help.

I think that it is sweet that you do not want to push her after 3 weeks of dating..and your wanting it to be right.
There is no secret to it. You just have to wait until the right time and she will look at you or you will look at her and you will know. Be gentle with her and use little or no tongue for your first kiss.

You'll know the time is right when you can't stop looking at her face like it was a juicy steak. She will stare at you a lot when she is ready. Her eyes will examine your face intently. Go in slow like you want to get a close look in her eyes. Keep eye contact until your lips meet. Enjoy. Leave out the A-1.
