I like this guy but he is a different clic then me. I know if i ask him out or the other way around his friends would think he's weird or something. And i have a small school so i would be totaly ridiculed. Help!!!

yea, i kno how it is worry bout something like that being ridiculed, cuz i go to a small school too. ummm.......the best advice i can give is.....don't worry bout it. if u like this person, and truly want to be with him, then it shouldn't matter. pull him aside and talk to him privately. just let him kno how u feel. that's pretty much how i did it. sorry if its not much help, but its the best i can do.

Honestly , if you like the guy and if he likes you , nothing should stand between that. But yes... I know that that isn't always reality, so here's my advice. What you have to consider is that friends change, and clics changes alot. Who knows, if you went out with him, maybe you could be friends with his friends. But if his friends think he's wierd, than they would get over it sooner or later., and if he really likes you, he will ignore his friends for you. I went out with this guy who was in a completely different clic than I, and through the corse of our relationship, he change clics so many time, wound up being in my clic, and then when we broke up, changed clics again. My other friend just started going out with this guy that 2 years, she never would have seen herself with, and is now still friends with me, but also ow really close to her boyfriend's friends. Now, if the problem is the populatiry, if his clic is more popular than you, then that souldn't matter to you, and he would be happy to go out with you. If he is more popular than you, than he will either say yes, being strong and understanding despite what people think a great guy to go out with, or say no, in which case he deserve nobody and you deserve somone so much better. I would think it over, and if he feels the same way, try to talk about it to him.

Hey like they all say opposites attract..... Before I married ( in High School) The only type of guys I dated were preppies, and popular guys... When I was 19 I met my husband at the bar I waitressed at he was covered in tattoos and totally not like any other guy I had ever dated and until my friends and family actually got to know him they all said what are you thinking this guy is not your type, of course my heart was telling me otherwise, it was very exciting to have something different for a change and now 8 yrs. later we are happily married with 4 children... In the end it doesn't really matter what either side of the friends think as long as the two of you are happy and satisfied

I go to a really small scool to im in jr high and i have the same problem my x-boyfriend was in a totally diffrent click and i really really liked him so i9 just asked him out and he said yes and for a while we were made fun of and everybody laughed but then it became totally normal and everyone got over it....

Just go for it! im in HS also. i posted the same question that u have. The best advice is that just to go for it. Even if he shoots u down, u can still say that " I asked out that boy " who knows maybe he'll say yes. And dont worry about cliques. My gf is in a TOTALLY diff. clique than me. It doesnt make a difference. Go for it!

So, why do you like him in the first place? If you think you're going to be ridiculed, then honestly it's not worth it if both parties are going to have issues.

well it doesnt really matter what click anyone is in. why would his friends think he's weird. you dont know his friends so you wouldnt know if they are gonna think your weird or not. mayb they think your cute/hot cool. whatever the case may be. just talk to him. know if he likes you back.

listen to your heart if you like him for who he is and not what click he is in or how hot he is then if you think you really like him then go for it but what i do is make a pro and con list that way you can see all the possibilities
