Having pride is a sin, and people have so much pride in believing in God - sinners. And since atheists are logical and can't prove him either way - Shouldn't everyone shut up about whether he exists, because there is absolutely no proof?

i feel the same way. But this topic is so taboo in society and people are quick to judge you when you start to second guess god and religion. I know its wrong but some people do have so much pride when believing in god. and most are hypocritcal---(dont know if i spelled that right)

No one can prove through science that God exists or God doesn´t exists. It is just a matter of Faith.
The same idea of God itself, is too big for science.
I belive there is a God because i can see something farther that my understanding in people like Father Pio of Pietrelcina, in Saint Francis of Assissi,and people like that that are Saints. That is MY PERSONAL WAY of beliving there is a God.
So i belive everyone has the right to say their belifes.
By the way i´m Catholic.

One can say that the proof is in us just walking around living today, we are complicated beings. There are a lot of things that we can not explain, understand, and probably will never have answers for, and that is fine, because we do not need to know it all, just live your life to the best of your ability, and look for comfort and guidance in your time of need.

Hmm, good points...
A problem comes when "believers" begin to infringe upon the rights of "nonbelievers" in the form of creationism taught in school or ten commandments in the town hall and such...
I also think that the question has value and consequences...and there is no harm in gathering philosophical and scientific evidences....

I honestly do not care if a Christian believes in their god or not. I care when the Christian tries to force their beliefs on others by trying to make their religious beliefs into law.

i agree with you. gen.1:1 startes with a theistic proposition
"in the beginning god"
if i accept that theory by faith and use the bible as the evidence.
i would never call anyone dumb who believes or does believe. in god. at somepoint they will either accept or reject and call their belief the truth

Exactly! For us it can be irrelevant wether there is or isn't a God! All theists should, instead, try to get the message right, and, if they like it, live by it.

why not just have faith JUST IN CASE you really DONT have all the answers.
as far as proof goes, there is no proof for the big bang, yet we teach it as fact. there is no proof that amino acids somehow reacted to electricity and became the first frankenstein.... (its alive!!!! lol) then there is lucy.... opps that fell apart.
if you want to justify your lifestyle, go ahead, what do you need me, christ, or the bible for, YOU ALREADY KNOW IT ALL, MAN!!!! CONGRATS!!!!
