Yes, I was born gay. It is not a choice.
It is only a choice whether i act according to my God-given nature or not.

If you say that i was not born gay, then that means you were not born straight. This means that you can never be sexually attracted to the opposite sex.
If i was not born gay then i would not be attracted to people of the same sex.

That last line should read:
I was born gay so i AM attracted to the opposite sex.

The insecurities and lack of confidence that all you so-called 'christians' display is incredible. You should all learn that (if you believe in God) that your God loves us all equally. He even loves you judging, unforgiving christians (just). He loves so-called 'sinners'. He loves me dearly for all my 'sins', but being gay isnt one of them. God made me gay, or he enabled me to choose to be gay... whichever, and i am happy with that. Being gay can be difficult.. its brings difficulties that straight people dont come across (such as being hated by christians). But it consists of a loving relationship between two consenting adults. Perfectly healthy stuff. To compare us with 'murderers' and 'thieves' is not really helpful to anyone. It always amazes me how 'christians' are always the first to judge, attack, and to hate. Wow. That is so NOT christian. Totally the opposite of what Jesus did. His message was of love, forgiveness and non-judging. Jesus loved sinners before anyone else.

Zag--point is, there is no God, in my opinion. Have you read the bible? It's pure evil. I've never read such garbage in my life, and I've read a lot of holy books. I don't know which holy book is worse, but the bible is pretty bad.
I've taken a look at a number of the respondants on this forum and I can see the hypocricy. Perfect example of why I don't follow any organized religion.
Do I think there's anything wrong with gays? No. Do I agree with it? I really don't know, because I am not gay. Do I think gays are perverts? No. I think there are a lot of straights who are perverts, as a matter of fact.
Where am I going with this?
Just as the bible states that gays are sinners, it also states that women are inferior, that slavery is accepted, that children should be abused, and a whole host of severely twisted findings.
I hope that you're able to seek refuge in the midst of all these hypocrites on this forum. I sure don't understand why certain groups claim that they don't judge and say that gays are going to hell when they say, in the same sentence, that it's not up to them to judge and that it's between sinners and God. Aren't theists sinners, too? Aren't they sinning by judging?
Good news is, I don't have to worry about being judged by others, and theistic hypocricy. However, I believe it's human nature to judge, anyway. That's how a person makes sound decisions for every facet of their life. Otherwise, people would be doing nothing more than blindly welcoming everything into their lives.
Anyway, I hope you don't mind this novel. Take care.

Additions:

I want to add and respond to Sawyer's idiotic psychoanalytic attempt at explaining why gays are gay.

Sawyer--have you ever heard of animals having homosexual tendencies? Did these male animals lack, somewhere, in their relationships with their bestial fathers?

My step-daughter is gay and she has a very close relationship with both her mother and father as there lies no hint of dysfunction, or a lacking.

Further, can you explain which way a hermaphrodite is supposed to swing. Can you explain if they are gay, straight, or just plain freaks. What does your bible say about hermaphrodites, Sawyer, my man? Are they supposed to agree to gender reassignment?

Explain that one, Bucko!

There isn't any cast evidence to consider that God had created the people in His picture. God isn't liable for gay emotions of the people. Spirits are the cause for such emotions. Spirits own individuals in line with the intellectual state of the people. This is an all time phenomena going on in all men and women. (Computer procedure) These spirits watch, consultant and verify the fate of the people from their every day routine, talks and ideas too. I can't understand how anyone makes an attempt to argue that it's a choice! Who would CHOSE a life style that is discriminated against, likely to cause family friction, reduce the chances of having a family, and make dating more difficult?!?!?

I never made a choice to be heterosexual....if I didn;t make a choice...why would anyone else???? I was born liking women.....I never had to decide to do that.

Good luck dealing with the idiot contigent.

To answer your question....I don't think there is a God....but if there is one....he/she/it has a very well developed sense of humor, and is a lot less judgemental then the people who claim to follow him/her/it.

Everybody is misinterpreting the Born in God's image idea. Being born in God's image means in the humanistic structure, not black, white, purple, gay, straight, etc.

THANK YOU! I'm gay as well, and totally understand your point. I never chose to be who I am. I never chose to be rejected by my parents. I never chose finding it so hard to find men like myself. I was born with it, same way straight people did not choose to like the opposite sex.

I won't compare you with a murderer or a theif but I will compare you with a fornicator because that's what having sex with another person outside of the covenant of marriage is called. If you say that you are attracted to members of the same sex, well I'm attracted to members of the opposite sex. I'm not married so I don't go around trying to satisfy my natural desires outside of God's will for my life.

Jesus said "Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father". The Bible is clear that none of us can live a life of unrepentant sin and expect to be welcomed into God's presence when we die. (Galatians 6:7,8 - Hebrews 10:26-31, 1 Corinthians 6:9,10)

As to you being born with these desires, that in and of itself is debatable. Statistics show that something like over 80% of men who identify themselves as being homosexual have one or more of the following factors in common in their early childhood.

1. sexual abuse
2. domineering mother - passive father
3. distant/unloving father
4. abusive father
5. no father

Every person has a desire to feel love from their mother and their father. When a person doesn't get that need met sometimes they seek to have that desire filled through sexual intimacy with a substitute figure. When a person gets used to having sex with a person of the same sex their brain gets wired to associate that with pleasure and emotional fulfillment and what would seem abnormal to most people becomes perfectly normal to them.

Yes, God loves you and me just as we are, but He loves us too much to leave us the way that we are. Don't live in denial, let that remain a river in Egypt. Come before God and ask Him to give you his Holy Spirit who will give you the insight and understanding and power to live a life that honors your Creator, in Jesus' name, Amen!

People are gods, so every one of us in this world is a god, probably stronger than the god that people believe in, so remember that a every one of us is a god.
