Ok this is very very simple
You cannot earn your way into heaven
Jesus earned it for you and for me and for all on the Earth, by taking our sins upon himself and dying upon the cross
However the only way Jesus can take our sins is if we let him
You must turn your life over to Christ
Think of it like this GOD is so perfect that it is impossible for unholyness to be near him without being destroyed
But Jesus was also perfect and holy
We are not
But when we accept Jesus into our hearts he becomes part of us
Jesus's holyness is so great it covers all of our mistakes and Sins
SO we can recieve salvation

Accept Jesus Christ into your heart and follow His commands and don't back-slide. Really, if you talk with G-d and seek Him with all your heart, He'll show you the way. And remember that G-d's kindness leads you to repentance. So...I'm only human, but I would say to do the following:
1. Seek G-d.
2. Repent (know that you are a sinner and turn away from your sin).
3. Ask G-d for forgiveness and thank Him at the same time for dying for you.
4. Love G-d with all your heart, mind, and spirit. Love your neighbor as yourself.
Pretty simple, actually :-). Don't forget to
seek G-d though - He'll take care of the rest.

You must defeat the passions and desires of the mind .... ego is the last to go, but when you are successful at this, heaven is very close. Death to the ego is the key. The path is inside your body and you can attain heaevn while still in the physical body.

Through Christ.....1 John 1 &2 are good scriptures, really the New testament tells you how you can get to heaven.....but the short of it...it is through Christ that we enter Heaven.....Be Blessed

Jesus is the way and the truth and the life, and no one will enter to the Father's house except through Him.
Seek Him. Accept Him as your Lord and Savior. Paul tells how to become a Christian, and James tells more about what is expected from you once you are a Christian. Deeds do not save us, but they are required once we start to follow Jesus. : )

be an overall good person, give to charity, atleast 10 percent of ur income. and worship jesus. follow the 10 commandents, and i assure you, your soul will be fine.
