The average time a cat stays in heat is 4-5 days. But then it can come back in 2 weeks again. A cat can be spayed or neutered when they are in heat so just make an appointment asap or you will drive yourself nuts.

I think up to a month stright! but on and off forever, slowing down as the years go by. Get your cat fixed, the cat will be happier, you wont have any unexpected suprises, and your house and clothes will smell like you and not ammonia!

had one before like that it stayed in heat about 2 weeks and it drove me almost crazy hollering all the time.get it spayed or neutered as soon as possible,if its male it will spray all over your house and the smell is as bad as a skunk.and it will come in heat a lot.
