I have to make lollipops tonight, and I didn't realize I had no oils. I called AC Moore, but they didn't have the flavor I wanted. I called another store, and they carry Wilton oil-based flavoring. She said it's for chocolate melts, but would it be okay to use in lollipops? I normally don't use that brand.

Oil flavorings are used in hard candy making all the time. I made lots of different flavors for the holidays.

Almost all the colored candy melts are white chocolate with coloring added. If they were milk chocolate flavored, they would be a brown color.
