somtimes it take a couple of trys to make the messy look good. first you pull your hair into a pointal bunch your hair once wrap the hair band around bunch your hair again and wrap the hair band around. u usually only can wrap the hair band twice. move around the bun to you like the messyness good luck.

1st, you make a ponytale. Then when your on the last loop don"t pull your hair out. If you want a messy look ( I don't really explain good) leave some out at the end. and pull out some bangs!

dont' use a comb...and just gather your hair in a pony tail using only your hands (preferably when your hair it totally dry). Secure it in a pony tail with an elastic band. then start to twist it until it starts to coil on its own. wrap it around the elastic that you used to secure the pony tail. use bobby pins to secure it, not making it too tight. pull out strands of hairs from the bun. shake your head from side to side, to loosen it a tad. =)
