It may just be a strong maternal instinct. Wait until you're married and can afford them though. Then have all the babies you can and want to have. I want a child dearly and I dream all the time about finally getting pregnant or getting pregnant then losing it, from what I've heard it's normal to dream of stuff like that.

Honey, at 18, your biological clock is NOT ticking! You have at least 15 more years of great fertility. Sometimes dreams like that are reflective of "nurturing", meaning, you may have fought with someone lately, felt alone? Or you made a choice lately independently, which proved your growing maturity? There are many different analogy's when it comes to dreams, there are books on it, but obviously, something in your sub conscious sparked the dream, possibly even seeing something on television, or even having a conversation about pregnancy. In any case, it will pass, don't worry about it1

I used to have dreams about being pregnant and/or having a newborn baby all the time. I almost always woke up and got my period that day- my body must have felt the slight cramping during my sleep and my brain associated it with the feeling of carrying a baby. Now that i actually am pregnant, i've only had 1 baby dream! Dreams are just dreams- they could mean a million things depending on what's going on in your life at any given time.

I, on the other hand, am well out of school, with grown children, and I dream about being in high school and taking tests.
I would venture to guess that you have some deep rooted anxieties about the future, the unknown, etc... related to having children and it's coming out in your dream life.
It would be completely normal for you to experience these dreams because you have subconscious thoughts about babies.
Don't read too much into it. You're normal. It's the unknown for you and your mind is just exploring it.

I had my first child when I was your age and after the condom broke the first time I ever committed the act, well I knew my life was over even after planned parenthood said I wasn't preg., but I was and I knew that by Independence day. my breasts were sore and I was tired all the time. Before I went to pp fof a preg. test I started dreaming about a baby 2.So if u dont want 2 get preg. then D-O-N-T have unprotected sex and use spermicides along w/your your birth control.
