Personally I find nothing wrong with giving a guy a hug, if you are only just friends. But your implying that he may like you,now that's a different story. You don't ever want to give mix signals to someone you consider just a friend, specially of the opposite sex. Men don't have that part of the brain that we do,that seperates one action from another and one meaning from another. So unless you like him more than a friend, don't send signals your not willing to back up. Because it could hurt your friendship in the end. Keep it friendly, less hugging, and if you do hug him respond by saying you are such a good friend, this way if he thought about being more than just friends and that's not what you want, then he'll get the message,with men you have to pretty much spell things out. Depends on if you're giving him false hope, or using him to make a current lover jealous. If he weren't interested, I'd say it's fine to hug him, but there's always going to be that thought in the back of their head, "Does she like me? Is this why she's hugging me so much?"

Yeah I think its okay to give a guy a hug. a regular guy it would be like your a friend to count on kind of thing. (like if you needed help then he would be there to help if you asked. )

Hell yea! We are meant to be touching, today's society is just to impersonal and we are afraid to be in physical contact. Hug him, you will both enjoy it.

relies upon on the position you study! i said soo many acquaintances (opposite sex) hug one yet another interior the auc! because its something ideal there. lets say you study in Cairo Uni. not ideal.
