a new term just started at my school. there was this girl that i thought was cute from the first day. we're in a few classes together, but we haven't talked much so far. i guess you can say that i have a crush on her, but i'm not really sure yet. there's no way she knows i have a crush on her, cuz the only person i told is my friend Jake and i doubt he would ever tell. anyway, im dozing off in global, as usual, lol, and when i snap out of it cuz the teacher said something loudly, shes staring right at me! i made eye contact with her, but she just looked away hurriedly. it happened two more times that day, that i looked around and caught her staring. i don't know if she likes me, but i wouldn't mind if she did. also, at the bus stop before i left to go home, she came walking up past me with some of her friends. she was talking with her friends and i with mine, but she just looked right at me, and we both made eye contact. i smiled at her,

also i made a joke today, in a class where i sit next to her, and she laughed. it was pretty smooth. it was about something the teacher was doing.
i don't want to rush anything, cuz then it might be awkward.

ummm......... what you have is the VERY popular case of "crushdreaming" i got one time, so i told my crush and he didn't soeak to me for like ever (he told me he was moving and glad to be away from some freaky girl he goes to school with) so don't make any move till you become friends and she starts flirting!

Well thats usually a pretty good sign that she likes you, I am also a Freshman in High school. I think if you think that she likes you that you should talk to her and get to know her and then ask her out when your comfortable. Good luck man, Don

Um....I have girls staring at me, too, but it is simply a sign of a) friendship or b) WTF?!? when I do something stupid. Eye contact does NOT, I repeat DOES NOT equal Wuv. Sure, eye contact is a sign of Wuv, but I wouldn't act on it. You sound pretty smooth, why don't you confirm it. I'm not saying she doesn't like you, I'm saying that eye contact is not the best way to judge whether someone likes you or not.
PS--I make jokes too. :D ;)

i do that all the time with my friends - ur the new "hott boy." it wil last aout a week, and then she'l move on. if she dusnt, then either u wer upgraded to "obsession boy" or she actually likes you. if you catch her looking at you while she's with a bucnh of friends, then she's talking about you. take it from one who knows: doing little things like bump into her and have 2 second converstations will make her cray about you.

Keep it a secret for a while. I think you should regularly start talking to her. Make it a habit. But don't make it too obvious. Jokes are a good conversation starter, so keep it up! =)
I wouldn't say she's not interested, so don't make any silly mistakes.

start talking to her more..and find more about her.. then if you think that you are ready to ask her out then do it.. you never know she might feel the same way! But if you don't want to rush it then become Friends first..girls love that.

She for sure likes you but doesn't know how to approach you, or more to the point, wants YOU to approach HER. Is there a dance or a game coming up that you can invite her to?
