Hi ,
No Single Food or Food Group can supply all the essential nutrients. This is because the nutrient content of foods varies, as some foods are rich in one or more nutrients and deficient or poor in others. Hence you need to eat a balanced diet consisting of wholegrain cereals, fruits and vegetables and protein foods along woth small amounts of oil and sugar. Apart from this you need to drink atleast 5-6 glasses of plain water in addtion to the other beverages consumed. Avoid junk foods and processed foods.

Most vegetables, especially carrots and celery. Leave some in a spot in the fridge that's easy to get to and grab them instead of junk food whenever you feel like having a snack.

One idea I like is adding cooked califlower to mashed potatoes to cut the calories. When they are whipped together most ppl don't even know they are in there.
