Can I re dye my hair right now? I am going from a blonde to darker so can I go even darker if I go get more dye or will that ruin it? I don't know if that 5-6 week rule only applys to lightening your hair...

you didn't leave it in long enough....if you have blonde hair, and want to get brown as an end result your hair goes from the blonde, to darker blond, red, brown, then black (assuming u want to get black). get a darker shade..or go to a pro....they time it well, and dont' damage it like the at home stuff. =) if u try it again at home, and it doesn't work, definitely go to a pro...otherwise it'll get al dry....

Give it a couple days. Sometimes red tones will oxidize out after a day or two, especially if you go in the sun. This happened to me once. I went out in the sun the next day and the red faded out and left it dark blonde, which was what I was shooting for anyway.

If it doesn't fade out in a day or two, see a professional to correct it for you.

OK...you may want to wait a few days...but YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO USE "ASH BROWN"...Anything with ash in it...sorry....that gets the red out!!!...leave it on for atleast 45 minutes because you have now red in your hair....
