I think women like Jane Fonda, patriots like John Kerry, and anyone else that is a detractor or was a critic of wars that yielded fruitless results, and sacrificed our men needlessly, need to be lauded as heroes. I have said it before and I will say it again, nothing can be more supportive of the troops than encouraging our government to take them out of harms way, thus sparing their lives, especially if their lives are subject to danger for causes that don’t have at their heart the interests of the American people.

This whole argument, propounded by many in the right wing, who themselves never tasted war, that supporting our troops means encouraging their prolonged stay until “victory” is achieved, is a specious notion if I ever heard one. “Victory” in Vietnam was unattainable, and “victory” in Iraq is equally unattainable when the very people you are trying to assist are so/were ideologically dissimilar from us. To say that further entrenching our troops in a fruitless cause is the benchmark of being supportive is the equivalent of saying that forcing your son to subdue a dog with rabies, when the disorder leads to the dog being incorrigible in the first place, is somehow being supportive of your son, even though the effort is futile and will result in his injury and probably death. This is not only the exact opposite of supportiveness, it is the very embodiment of immorality and derangement.

Thank God for intrepid women like Jane Fonda and other war protesters who expedited the return of our men to the loving arms of their family and friends. No act could have benefited them more. Let us hope they can do it again.

She only helped the Cong. Yes her picture should be posted for treason and a reward of 10 million for her arrest. Another 10 million if she is convicted, and another 10 million if she were exicuted by firing squad. She is what is called a turn coat and back when america was america, she would have been charged with high treason. Are you old enough to remember Toyko Rose???

Im sure this isnt a serious question. Jane fonda impeded our victory in Vietnam and should have been charged with treason.

Jane Fonda and the likes of her were responsible for our military personell getting spat on when they came back home by a bunch of worthless patchoulli stinking hippies.

I will make you a promise. When our boys come home this time, me and millions of my friends will be there to welcome them back home. Hippies and peacenazis should stay home.

Here is the essence of what Fonda has written in her autobiography, tracking what she said in a Radio Hanoi broadcast: These are things she said about our prisoners of war who were tortured, murdered and starved.

· “The POWs appear to be healthy and fit.”

· “All of them have called publicly for an end to the war and signed a powerful antiwar letter . . . . “

· “A few of them tell me they, too, are against the war and want Nixon to be defeated in the upcoming elections. They express their fear that if he is reelected, the war will go on and on . . . and that bombs might land on their prison.”

· “I am asked to convey their hopes that their families will vote for George McGovern.”

· “I ask them if they feel they have been brainwashed or tortured, and they laugh.”

She should be tried for treason and shot, you should have everything you own taken from you, then be beaten, then sent to live in another country of my choice.
