put a gi joe in his locker holding up a card that say wanna go to the dance?

Make it fun!!! You could put a small note into a fortune cookie. All you have to do is microwave it for a few seconds and it softens for only enough time to slip a new note in. The note could say something like this.
(Her name here),
"Your future is sure to see you at the dance with
(Your Name)!! Please say yes?
Lucky number: (Put the date of the dance) 2-14-07
LOLOL Very creative and fun. Trust me it works every time.
be sure to use a small enough font on the computer too make the note look like a real fortune cookie note.

You just ask. Be honest. Don't beat around the bush. Walk up to him and say hey, what are you doing on (day of dance)? If he says "nothing" Then ask. If he says he has plans, back off and start a conversation. If he asks "why do you ask" Then just tell him why you asked.

well, the only time a girl should ask a guy to the dance is at a Sadie Hawkin's Dance, but what you should do is talk to them and let them see your good side and then ask them if they want to hang with you at a dance.
