There is a new vaccine out to prevent cancer in women. I cannot remember what it is called, can you help?

The vaccine for HPV and cervical cancer is called Gardasil.

Its called Gardasil. It prevents certin types of the HPV virus that causes cervical cancer. It comes in 3 shots over a 6 month period. This is correct, I work at an OB/GYN... people are getting them like crazy!

It is called Gardisal. It has many "if's" regarding whether it is worth taking. Listen carefully to the wording during the commercial, it states "may help in some of the cancers that may affect some of the 70%who get cancer. Be careful and don't be hooked into a scam that may/may not work. I'm not saying it's a scam,I'm saying be careful of the many scams out there with miracle cures for cancer. If it were that easy...........well figure it out. Good luck.

It is called Gardasil. It only prevents cervical cancers associated with various strains of HPv (Human Papiloma Viruses).
