What the...
I didn't realize that El Paso and Dallas were 1200 miles apart? ;P
Well, in either case, when I drove my Tahoe from San Antonio back home to the SF Bay Area, it cost me around $200 the whole trip.
But gas didn't cost as much back then (2001), as it does today.
If these are mostly all freeway miles, you can expect maybe 16 MPG (depending on how heavy of a foot you've got). With that in mind, you're going to need about 75 gallons of gas. I think you've got a 26 gallon tank? So, figure around 3 full tanks of gas.
To be safe, I'd expect to pay around $225 (est. at $2.65/gall).
Hope that helps. Stay safe!

Depending on how many miles you get per gallon. Say you get 25 mile per gallon and gas is $2.19 a gallon. Expect to pay about $105-110 or more depending on extra miles traveled to out-of-the way sight seeing. That is only one way, pay the same going back. Lookin' at roughly $200+, Have a safe trip.

We do not know the year or motor size . This would figure into the miles per gallon . I would take a guess and say around 60 gallons .. I figured this at 20 miles per gallon.. If you know your miles per gallon divide that into 1200 miles .. and your answer is the # of gallons to go that far ... Once you have your gallons x that by the price per gallon .. good luck and have a safe trip ..

You will get ~8-12 miles to the gallon and your truck probably has a 20 to 40 gallon tank. How much is $ per gallon in the U.S. Do the math.

Somewhere in the ballpark of $135 if you get about 20 miles per gallon and pay on average $2.25 at the pump.

depends on how you drive, and the condition of your truck. and the price of gas along the way
but lets assume you get 12 mpg, and gas is $2.25 gallon.
1200 miles/12 mpg=100 gallons, 100 gallons * $2.25=$225.00 one way
