No they will not turn to scars, and I'd take a shower, to it make it less noticeable.
Cut you cat's claws, and give it a day, they'll be less sharp. Also blow in the cat's face when he claws you, and say no.
DON'T de-claw, it's nonhuman.

Whether your 'cat scratches' can turn into 'scars' or not depends on how deep they are. If I were you, I'd wear a long sleeved top to 'hide them' and be sure that the sleeves are 'loose enough' not to 'bind' the scratches tightly. Your 'real problem' though is to STOP the can from scratching your arms ... you may need to do some 'experimentation' to find what he'd like to 'scratch on' ... a carpeted scratch post, a piece of wood, cardboard, coiled rope ... and you need to not try to 'hold' your cat if it doesn't want to be held ... don't even 'pick it up' but wait until it 'asks' by hopping onto your lap.

20 scratches? well...I don't think your cat would just come up and scratch you for nothing. Maybe your annoying him? my cat goes crazy when I try to look for fleas and kill them. You should just leave him or her alone for a while. Ur scratches won't turn into scars so don't worry.(only bites are serious) any simple cream that clears up scars, like neosporin. But ur not wearing short sleeves are you?! it's winter! wear long sleeves and coats,it's freezing outside.

Me? In any given time of the week, I will usually appear with scratches on my arms and lower neck from one of my cats who is very attached to me but likes to "dig in" when I carry him. I am so used to it; does not bother me a whit and the scratches usually require minimum medical treatment (if any) and disappear within the course of a week. I don't know... some cats just like to "dig in" their claws and don't quite realize that you are not a cat with fur padding over your skin (hee hee hee). Don't worry about the scratches - they won't scar (but some BITES do). Just clean with soap and water and if you want to be extra careful, swab some neosporin or some antibiotic cream over the scratch marks. :)

get cat declawed, put neosporin on the scratches to keep from turning into scars, then wear long sleeve shirts, or put powder on them
