A lot of dandruf shampoos contain wax (heard this from my hair stylist) and she says to go to the doctor and get the prescription dandruf shampoo.

Do you use a lot of styling products or use a hairdryer/flat iron/curling iron often? If so, try taking a break on the weekends from those or even try brushing your hair at night before bed to distribute your hairs natural oils.

Also, dandruf can be an indicator of not having a healthy diet. Try adding some fish or fish oil supplements (pills you can buy at GNC or at any grocery store). The combination of the shampoo and the pills should help.

Dandruf sucks.

I hope this helps!

Good luck!

Head and shoulders is a very mild dandruff shampoo. Try something stronger like neutrogena T-gel, or nizoral AD. There is no cure for dandruff. (all of a sudden, my head itches.)

yeah rinse your hair with lemmon juce undiluted then wash it with water and shampo , do this 1 time a week for 2 weeks . (during these 2 weeks dont straighten your hair or curl it or use moose). N.B if your hair makes any bad reaction from the first time dont do it again.
dont leave lemon onyour hair without washing it
it is very rare to have a -ve reaction to this recipe

I would combnie two of the answers on here. Ineed, do try the T-gel. Warning, that shampoo reeks to high heaven. It smells like medicine, so do not be shocked when you try it. I would try using the tee tree oil too, that seemed to work for me.

try Tea Tree oil (i think) it comes in a small bottle, just add a few drops to your shampoo and conditioner. The smell of that oil is a little intense but not bad at all.

NIZORAL.

Go to your doctor or dermatologist and get a prescription for this one. I've been using it for +- 20 years now, every other day. Good smell, soft hair, no flakes.

Good Luck

I think Neutrogena makes a dandruff shampoo called T-Gel. You should try that.
