What is the value of a 1973 Ford LTD 4 door? It has a 400 V8, automatic transmission and air conditioning, it runs/drives like a dream and the interior/exterior are in good shape?

I'm not really sure cause I believe that 1973 was the beginning of the decline for the automobiles as far as the power ratings and the emissions controls that were starting to take place, I thought that the 1973-74 Ford LTD was much better looking than the GM cars of that era.

Since the LTD is a 1973 it's not nearly as collectible as the earlier LTD's and my guess of the value would be around $1500-2500.

I think that it's a good deal and I bet you that the car would move with the 429 under the hood, the Ford 429 motors are one of my favorite motors of all time and the Ford LTD's were really good cars back in the day and that was back when Ford made good cars.

About $1000-1500, they are good cars as in durability but they're not as quick as the LTD's of the previous years and they drink alot of gas, my father used to own a '74 LTD and it was a really nice car and I sure wish they made cars like this today.

It was a nice car in 73 , but its an old boat now. A lot depends on what you need it for. If you dont drive much it would probably work just fine. Even though it might be nice it will most likely cap at about $1000 to $1250

That sounds too good to be true. When 73's were on the road, in regular use, it was always a race to see if it fell apart or rusted away first.
I don't have a guess about value. I wouldn't pay more than $100 of my own money for it. Repair parts will be hard to find.
