My aunt who was a pro hair dresser gave me this tip when I asked her the same question. Spray your hair brush (any kind) lightly with hairspray (any kind). Works too!

Buy some static spray. (The stuff for your car seats and stuff.) Or just run a dryer sheet over all of your hair.

The best solution is to either rub a fabric softner sheet on your hair.(no joke) or spray static gaurd lightly on your hair brush, brush as usual.

That static guard stuff is all chemicals and stinks. just rub your favorite conditioner between your palms and rub it gently into your dry hair. i use Dove Intense Frizz Control (my hair isn't frizzy) it's just a hair moisturizer. Works well for me.
