You want baker's yeast. Two well-known brands are Fleischman's & Red Star.
Look in the baking section of your grocery store. If you can't find it, ask because it is a common item.

At the grovery store, with the baking goods stuff. Look for Brewers yeast. It's in a yellow package.

most supermarkets have dry yeast, if you want fresh yeast just ask them in home bakery department for some, and they will always oblige you, mine do they only charge me about 50p for a few ounces.
