I would say false. Isn't diaper rash from being left in a wet/dirty diaper for too long? Which could happen in a disposable or cloth diaper.

False. Diaper rash is caused by an irritated bottom. This could be from something the child ate, wearing a dirty diaper too long, an illness, anything. Most babies get a diaper rash at some point, however I've seen severely neglected babies who rarely had a diaper rash and coddled, overprotected babies who seemed to have diaper rash all the time. It just depends on the sensitivity of the babies skin to whatever touches it.
However, there were a few off-brands of diapers that gave my baby diaper rash each time he wore them. The pediatrician said it was probably one of the chemicals used either to bleach the cotton or to absorb the liquid.

False..I honestly think it depends on what your child is eating as well as their system. My son has had diaper rash after shots at times..or occasionally because of the acid in his tummy, but it's once in a blue moon. I've heard that switching diaper brands can cause diaper rash, but I have never noticed anything different. The best thing is to change a diaper ASAP obviously and use gentle wipes.

False - my baby has been in disposable diapers since she was born and she has never had a diaper rash. She is almost 11 months old.
Diaper rash is caused by leaving a wet or poopy diaper on too long.

False. If you're a bad parent and let your child set in their own piss and/or sh*t, that's how they get diaper rash. My kid was in diapers (and pullups) until she was 18 months (when she became fully potty trained) and never had a single case of diaper rash. It's all about taking care of your kids. Now, there are some cases where the kid is allergic to the diaper and that will make them rash up. But under normal circumstances, it is just a lack of caring for the kid.

False, mine very rarely got it and I never used real diapers! Only disposable! I never left mine in one too long!!!!!! And the few times they got it Bouedreax's Butt paste got them well fast! I'd say regular cloth diapers could give them a rash quicker, being it has less absorbency!

Almost all babies get diaper rash at some point. Either from being left in a diaper or from eating something funky when they start solids. Even cloth diapered babies get rashes.
