Hi there,
My friend asked me to bring an appetizer dish to her birthday party this Saturday. There will be able 10-15 people there. Ideally, I'd like to bring something that I can prepare or cook ahead of time, and if it's a warm appetizer, something that I can quickly warm up in their oven once I get there.

If anyone has any favorite appetizer recipies, please share!

Thanks.

I make something that has become a guest favorite and I am asked to bring it to parties.

2 pks. Pillsbury crescent rolls (do not separate)
Ham, salami, swiss cheese, mozzarella (or provolone) About 5 eggs, beaten.

In a rectangle baking pan (about 9x13) spread 1 pk. Pillsbury dough on bottom of pan.
Start layers or meats and cheeses, alternating and brushing beaten eggs on top of each layer. Start with the ham, then cheese, salami, another cheese, and work almost to top of pan.
Top it off with the second pk of Pillsbury dough and brush top with egg.
Bake on same temperature as instructed on the pk of Pill. dough, for about 45-50 minutes. It should be dark, golden brown.

Let it cool for about 15 min. Cut into small squares.

You can make this the night before the party. Cover and refrigerate the cut up squares. When you get to the party, or right before you leave, just pop into the oven and warm up. These are even good at room temperature.

I hope you and your friends enjoy this recipe.

When I cater a Party and they want some appititzers, I make these:
Sliced Smoked Polish sausage, or Keilbasa,
Pound of Bacon sliced into 3rds
Toothpicks
Brownsugar
Slice the Sausae/Keilbasa and wrap them in the small strips of bacon, secure with toothpicks, put on baking sheet, back for about 25-35 minutes at 350 degree oven, remove from over, sprinkle brown sugar over the top, bake another 5-10 minutes till sugar has glazed over, remove to a serving platter and serve. U can also use lil smokies and wrap them in the bacon as well. Its easy, simple and cheap to make and a big hit!!!!!

I was served this at a luncheon this week and it was delicious and simple.Buy some croissant rolls and cut a fairly long slit in the top. Scoop out a little of the bread and fill with chicken salad, you can buy it in the deli section. My daughter and I are going to use tuna salad instead and top with cheese and melt.An easier one is buy some miniature smoked sausages(puppy peckers lol)put in a crock pot with barbecue sauce and it can simmer on low for a few hours. You may have to add more sauce from time to time.Have fun and good luck.

This is a favorite, easy and goes fast so make lots of it.

Super thin sliced hame or that Buntig lunch meat that is sliced so thin. Spread a piece of it with regualr cream cheese. Place a whole dill pickle on one edge of it and wrap it up. Cut the whole thing in about 1/2 inch slices. Looks pretty too.

if you want some simple, and a lot of people will like, you can try finger sandwhiches which is mainly bread, sandwhich meat, mayonnaise (or butter) and cheese (any kind of cheese would be okay). For each sandwhich, you have to cut them down into smaller squares so each person could pick up a portion instead of the whole sandwhich.

Take a sheet of puff pastry spread a layer of sun dried tomatoes paste roll it, put back in the freezer so it hardens a bit (makes it easier to cut) cut it in 1/2 in. and bake for about 10 min. depending on your oven and done, later you can just put in the oven to keep warm.
