for valentine's day, i am planning to get my boyfriend an ipod shuffle (he wants one to have w/ him to work out) and a card. is that enough or what? i'm not going to get him a stuffed animal or chocolate cuz i already gave him a lot of those. should i get him something else?

That should do it. Dudes don't like a bunch of gifts. It's just more stuff to collect dust and if he doesn't display it somewhere to your liking the it will probably get you upset and no guy needs that. The I-pod would be perfect because you know he'll use it all the time. You should put some music on it before you give it to him though.

Is an ipod shuffle going to mean something to him or is just going to be a present? Wouldn't a framed photo of the two of you or anything that might come from the heart mean more?
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have an iPod Shuffle, but I doubt I'd feel like it came from the heart like a card, framed photo, a dinner at a special place, etc.....

Get him what he wants. Men are rather easy to shop for cause they almost all want the same thing...ELECTRONICS. You can't go wrong with the Ipod

well if u think he will like the ipod i think that is enough. just get him a nice one not the cheapest one but one that he will be happy with.

That sounds good to me. To me, and I know this sounds discrimatory...LOL.., Valentines is more a holiday for girls than guys. My husband only wants one thing for V-Day and I can give it to him free...hahaha...
