ok so muh dad told me the other day, to never chase a guy, always let him chase you, and he said...play hard to get...and i always thought i knew what it meant but really im not that sure...how do you know what is "hard to get" and what is "i dont like you go away" cuz i feel like i may be over doing it sumtimes and hurt pple...not sureee...so plz tell mee wut this littl phrase meanssss

your dad's right.

playing hard to get is to act like you dont like him
even if you do. You should make any moves, until he does, and even when he does, kinda back off from him. Play hard to get

i have no real idea what playing "hard to get" involves and if i need to "chase" a lady then i dont --- if she is not interested then i take the hint and i cant tell the difference between not interested and try harder ---- to me a no is a no ---- i dont know that this helps i just no that i dont chase ---- best wishes
