It's really very simple. Just get a decent camera and start taking pictures of things you think are interesting. Take a class at a community college, it's free and open to all ages. That's probably the best way to go, because you learn a lot about how cameras work and how to take good pictures. If you want feedback on your photos, sign up at DeviantArt.com or Flickr.com. Once you get pretty good make your own website and/or assemble a portfolio of your best photos then go get work.

Henri Lartigue, one of the most influential figures in photo history was only 6 when he started taking photos. He didn't have any formal training, he was simply a prodigy. Perhaps you are too, you just need to get a camera and start photographing.

Just grab a camera and start taking pictures. That is how I developed an interest in photography as a hobby. With digital, its even easier and the quality is much better.

Start taking pictures. Whatever interests you is good. Look for things with interesting lines or neat shapes. Start messing around wih it! And when you are able, take classes. You will be head and shoulders above the rest of them! Good for you!
