Do not delude yourself- yes, 15 year olds will have drunk parties and a lot more---your question is conflicting-- you say legal age- which would make all of us start drinking at the legal age however, the truth is, most of us had at least one or two drinks way before 21.
I have 2 daughters--they both went to parties at 15 and both were exposed to booze, which by the way, is the lesser of the three evils- they have sex parties, drug parties and booze parties. I was happy with the booze parties. Have a serious sit down with your daughter- get her "take" of what goes on---I was fortunate, my youngest would tell on the oldest and vice versa. Then I hope you know who is having these parties so you can speak with their parents--- are they home during the parties? are they scheduled when the parents went away for a weekend? And how well do you know her closest friends--- because, think back when you were their age--- friends do what friends do.....so you can be quite sure that whatever is going on with their friends is going on with your daughter.......good luck and oh btway, don't come down as a parent.... talk with her as a friend, tell her some stories about when you were her age and admit to what you did...and if there were any consequences---did anyone in your class die from drunk driving? Horror stories always help......I'm sorry, but it's true...and the bottom line is....your influence stopped when she turned 10....at about that age, she developed her own morals, values, and thoughts as to what she will and will not do, trying to change that now is futile...so be their as a "friend" not a parent- you will help her so much more and reading her the "riot" act or any harsh punishments will only make her vent out and hate you---just keep in the back of your mind what YOU were like at the age and how you felt about authority.........good luck to you.

The first time I got drunk was in 1989 I was 15 years old. I do not know what age they are having drunk parties now a days. Just make sure she is not drunk when she comes home after one of these partys.

I think I was 14 when I first got totally smashed. My guess for the average age is probably around 13. But remember, just because your daughter is going to parties, that doesn't necessarily mean she's getting drunk. It's a possibility, but not all kids do that.

You might want to restrain your daughter from going to anymore parties. The average age is about 11years old. Every single year the age continues to get younger. I heard this on a news report a few months ago. I myself didn't get drunk the first time till I was 17 almost 18.

if ur daughter is going to parties then i would put money on her drinking
at my high school kids get drunk every weekend and at parties not only drink but smoke
i try and stay away from it but a lot of people do it... if your worried check for some signes that she was drinking
there are some signs on this site http://www.theantidrug.com/ei/signs_symptoms.asp
but i would say just check to see if she is chewing gum on the way back from the party and/or if she tries to avoid eye contact and get to her room to sleep as soon as she comes home
alright hope this helps a little and i hope your daughter isn't drinking

15 year olds definitly have drunk parties. once you enter highschool you have all the upperclassman that have these parties and most kids go to fit in. i actually got drunk at a wedding when i was around 11. my aunts let me have some wine but i had too much and was drunk. i went to parties all through-out highschool all most all of them had alcohol involved.
