Was it checkers? Or Johnson's dog? Truman's? I remember learning about this but don't remember the details!

It was one of Johnson's beagles (named Him and Her), but I am not sure which one he originally started picking up by the ears.

LBJ's dog ... it was a Bassett or a Beagle, I believe. Forget the dog's name, though.
