I support our President and his efforts to protect America and Americans from the jihadis and terrorists, and I fully support my son and his comrades in Camp Victory and all the brave American soldiers and military who are over there in harms way so we don't have to fight these lunatics in Brooklyn and Boise instead of Baghdad. Alas, though, I fear greatly that al congress and al media are winning the battle on Osama's behalf here at home, and will soon snatch defeat and chaos from the situation. Won't they all be humiliated and chagrined if Bush's troop surge actually works! I pray it happens!

1) NO
2) YES.
3)Here is how. If you think the coach of your favorite team is an idiot and his bad decisions are the reason the team has lost its most important games does that mean you don't support the players? OF COURSE NOT!
People with your viewpoint actually are actively trying to TAKE SUPPORT AWAY FROM THE TROOPS by telling Americans they shouldn't support the troops if they are against this ill-conceived war.
If people like you had your way less than 40% of the country would support the troops. Is that what you really want?

I had support for the war in the beginning but now i can see another Viet Nam beginning and we need to get in there and fight it out or return home . American troops are fighting men not police officers get the news media out of there and let our soldiers do what they were trained to do which is fight a stand up war all out. Having served in the Nam myself i can see a repeat here. I do support these wonderful guys and gals there but it's time for a move and the quicker we do it the faster we all will be home. 18 and green *** in the grass with an M-14, 1968 city of Hue Republic of Viet Nam my high school grad trip and what a trip it was.

Just because you don't like the reasons they are there, does not mean you do not appreciate them.....that is like saying by supporting our troops you love war.....you don't have to like war to support the men and women are are asked to fight it.....I support the troops, I think they are doing a good job, and that we as a Country should stay and finish what we started. The does not mean I have to like the fact that those same men and women have to get shoot at every day to get that job done.

As a person who served in Iraq for 2 year long tours I can say I support any and all personnel giving their time or life for our country. Seeing how it was over there I believe Iraq needed liberated from Saddam, but we should have waited until we found Osama.

If you support our troops, you need to support the war in Iraq. You can not support our troops without supporting what they are doing. Do not be like our politicians and protestors, they are just hurting our troops. We need to support our troops with whatever they are doing. It is their job, and they are just doing what they were trained to do. Protestors think they are hurting politicians, politicians do not care what protestors are saying. Politicians still get their expensive tax paycheck. Protestors hurt our troops when they publically do not support them. You would think that protestors would remember what they did to our troops that came back from Vietnam. Always, support our troops. Think about it without them you and your family are like sitting ducks. Right or wrong decision our troops are in Iraq and need us to let them know we support their efforts and believe in them. Because when it comes down to it, if your were face to face with a terrorist, who would you want protecting you!!!!
