Since a couple of weeks ago, I've noticed that I've been getting those shocks where you get dizzy after standing up fast, but I've been getting them very recently, sometimes around even twice a day; in addition to the fact that Im forgetting so much stuff it's not even funny, I'm forgetting names, things people told me (or who told me and when, most precisely), im forgetting last names, important data. What should I do? Should I eat anything special?
thanks

You need to go and see your doctor-ask to have your thyroid function checked. Both of my parents take thyroid supplements-synthyroid. The symptoms sound very similar to what was happening to my mother and what happens to my dad if he doesn't have his medicine.

Well if you stand up too fast your blood pressure can go way down and that may be why you are getting that dizziness, and shocks, so when you get up, do it slowly, not for the forgetting, everyone does that to a point, if your really worried about this, and the dizziness, i would suggest that you go and see your family doctor and let him check you out really well, be sure to tell him what is ging on, other wise now is he suppose to help you.

In winter I have had to live in places where propane burners vent to the room and natural gas burners vent to the room or at least the old furnaces leak some to the room air. It is easy to be dizzy after wards and the monoxide will stay with you for many hours . It is slowly removed from the body. I found it was an excellent way to forget my troubles and the related depression pains... All for free. Whoopee!

I think that seriously you need to go to see a neurologist fast...you might think is funny now but is not when you end up forgetting where or who you are never mind if you end up falling and hurting yourself pretty bad. See a Doc now.
on a comical note....don't forget! ;-)
best luck to you...

Are you on medication? It may be side-effects from meds. Also, if you are on medication and are missing doses, this is an effect from missing your meds. I. e. withdrawal.
