Average adult pulse is 60-100 beats per minute, although if you an active adult the pulse could be lower like in the 50's or even 40's while at rest. Average body temp. for an adult is about 97.0F to about 98.9F. As for children normal pulse is higher 70-120 beats per minute and temp. is higher 98.6F-99.2F.

Adults around 60-70 at rest. A child's varies according to their age.

Average body temp for adult or child is 98.6. Having said that, there is a huge variation in baseline temperatures of people. My baseline is 96.8, but doctors never take this into consideration. If I run a temp of 98.6 (i.e. "normal") I am ill.

Also, remember that the younger a child is the more quickly their symptoms and illness can worsen.
