I know there is a genetic link in the likelihood of becoming an alcoholic. I don't know about drug use. I would imagine that if a kid grows up with drugs around, that would probably increase his or her risk of using them.

I BELIEVE IT IS , MY UNCLE DIED AT 57 YRS OLD FROM ALCOHOLISM RELATED ILLNESSES , HIS DAUGHTER , TURNED OUT A DRUG ADDICT ...I BELIEVE THIS CAN HAPPEN TOO!
