I think that I have a fairly good voice, but would need some work. With the proper singing coaches, could it be done?

Yes. A good teacher can help you with this. Though the unique sound of your voice probably won't change, you can learn to control it better to achieve the sounds that you want. Practice, practice, practice!

It's entirely possible. I've been singing since I was 13 and I started voice lessons last June. I was having problems with breath control and support as well as pitch, tone, and placement. My voice teacher has helped me immensely through specific exercises. Sometimes the things that you're required to do may be a little outside your comfort zone, but they are totally worth it in the end. My voice teacher has claimed that I've improved so much in just the few months that I've been studying with her that I am ready for competitions.
If you want to improve and have the correct resources, you'll get better. Don't give up even when it gets hard. Your voice will just continue to get better and better.

Yes I use to absolutly syuck at singing, I sounded like a key on a chalkboard, but after three months of constant singing, ata co,mmunity theatre play I finally sounded ten time s better! Amazing.

Me too. I decide upon up the final tune of the song,ut when I try and sing it, i sound like anyone who is being chocked, lolz. I suppose that with the correct, professional help you might get it significantly better than it was earlier than, but to be very good you ought to have a reward of singing, only a bit to lift you even bigger

Yes - you need to do vocal exercises on a daily basis. After 90 days of this you might be amazed at the difference it can make.
