Yes, but only if the car is in Park AND the parking brake is in. If it doesn't automatically come on, push the AUX DISC button the the right side and select DVD. Also, from there if you touch the front screen, the DVD controls will appear.

I hope not. This is just as bad, if not worse, than cell phone users yakking while driving. You should not be watching movies while you are driving. ...and the "oh it's for my front passenger" excuse won't fly either because you will still be distracted from your driving because of the picture and the dialogue.

From the factory, it is not possible. However you can buy aftermarket products to make it happen.
