(To the person listed before meWhat? Why would he face prejudice? That's just silly. We have had Americans living and working in the UK for many many years, holding down alsorts of jobs. I'm sorry but I find that statement retarded!)
As to child support, there is such a thing as reciprocity laws between the UK and USA. This enables the courts from either country to have the respondent answerable to the other countries laws. This is used a lot for child support, divorce. My own divorce was done by mail thru this law, as was the child support. If she files for a divorce and has the details sent to his last know address in Wales and he does not respond, the divorce then goes thru being advertised in the town papers, court houses and back in the USA at his last known address. If he responds, he has to give details of earnings etc, if not, the ex wife gives a ball park figure of his potentail earnings and then the judge will either give the amount or leave it until he can be contacted. As to moving to the UK, the easiest was is as a fiance or spouse, of which he can neither be whilst he is married. He can go over as a tourist and apply when he gets there, some countries allow this,or, he can leave the country each time his tourist visa runs out and then return.
(PS Once again addressed to the person listed before me, there is no "H" in Wales)

Well when you boyfriend goes to court have your boyfriend ask the judge those questions and make sure that the judge can have it still arranged that when he leaves to be with you that his money is still deducted from his pay checks and stuff so his kids are supported by him. If the judge doesnt allow him to leave to where you are at than i dont think it would be a good idea if he left because than he would owe back child support which does add up and if he still cant pay he pretty much goes to prison or jail. It may be best for you two if you move to be with him cause he does have children apparently and i dont think you are the type of person to take him away from his kids his kids need there father it doesnt matter who has custody they need there father and there mother close by so do the right thing before you think of doing the wrong thing, just keep in mind there is children involved and its not fair to them that there parents have moved on and found somebody and want to move away to live with the other person it dont matter which parent.

Don't get your hopes up about how great your relationship with him is going to be. Every relationship is a compromise to a compromise to a compromise. There is no perfect couple out there. What you are doing is you are getting together with someone who is somebody Else's "baggage". He is "baggage" which is American for meaning that he is somebody Else's problem/issues/etc. His first "committed" relationship didn't work out. Chances are very good his second "committed" relationship won't work out either. As statistics show.

As for how can he become a citizen of Whales? You would have to marry him. After which you will have to sponsor him to become a permanent resident, and years later he can send in his application form to become a full fledged citizen and he can vote in your U.K. elections.

He will face prejudice in the UK and it will be hard for him to get a well paying job because all the employers over there will only hire an Englishman for management positions and as well as any other position that desirable.

First of all, if he owes more than $5,000.00 US. his passport can and more than likely will be revoked. If he has none he will not be able to acquire one until he pays it off.
Other than that, I see no problem except, he will have a very difficult time seeing his child/children if he is living in England. If that doesn't bother him, you should think over wheather or not you really want him as the prospective father of your children.
