Isn't it a shame that we REALISTS have given the world so much good with our science because we were not afraid to move forward with ideas that conflicted with religious text! We have offered medicine in place of prayer, perspective rather than faith, advances and advantages to those who would accept REALITY! What has occurred in the world of religion? Again WHAT HAS RELIGION CONTRIBUTED TO PEACE AND PROSPERITY? We constantly see differences among the "faithful" trying to siege the opportunity to show that "Our beliefs are better than theirs"; and yet, sadly in the end, those beliefs only amount to an UNKNOWN end! What has happened is that people who would use the technologies that were provided through hard work study and tenacity have been turned into devices to state that they were GOD GIVEN! I am an inventor yet religions will say I was Gifted! Was Einstein? So he figured us out of WWII, but now we wait for WWIII because-OF RELIGIOUS STUPIDITY! WHAT DID GOD INVENT? Create?

I agree with you, when considering Iran, that the next nuclear attack is likely to be from a religiously driven party.

Historically, Secularists have been brutalizing and murdering populations too. Secular Socialists like Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Castro, Kim Jong and others have been foisting horrible brutality on the people of this world.

It is the religious foundations of our nation that seem to differ from both the Secularists and the more violent religions abroad that made this a nation of Liberty. Read the Declaration of Independence for the religious philosophy at the heart of our nation.

I am sure some will dispute that we have a religious foundation. For clarification, consider that the first Congress opened with hours of prayer to God for guidance, the first Supreme Court did too (and has Moses on the building) and that the first Congress, in celebration of the Bill of Rights, ordered President Washington to create a national day of prayer to God called Thanksgiving.

Sometimes, religion can also be the road to peace, liberty and prosperity. It depends on which religion we are talking about.

Dude that is just inflammatory.
Consider the series of events leading up to the discovery, creation and eventual deployment of the first atomic weapon used by the USA against Japan.

"8:15 AM Monday, August 6, 1945, a single uranium filled atom bomb nicknamed "Little Boy" dropped through the open bomb bay of the Enola Gay from an altitude of 31,600 feet wiping out the city of Hiroshima (pop. 240,000) precisely 47 seconds later killing 75,000 people." ...
"At 11:00 AM "Fat Man" was released from aircraft and the bomb exploded. The yield was estimated at 22 kilotons. Approximately 35,000 people died at Nagasaki in the immediate blast." ...

With enough study we could easily determine hundreds of people all key in the series of events leading to that horrible day.

You can't anymore just put the blame on FDR or Churchill than the actual crew piloting the bomber. Nor could the blame be put upon Einstein, Oppenheimer or any other contributing scientists.
And this doesn't even take into account the Axis powers part in the melodrama.

My point is you need to learn tolerance and open-mindedness, find a religous fanatic who has learned the same lessons - and start talking about peace together......!!!!
