I don't get how to have accents over the letters. I know that you are suppose to push ALT+ the number but it doesn't work. How are you suppose to do it? Can you please give me step by step instructions? Thanks.

Make sure "Num Lock" is ON and then use the numbers that are in the key pad on the right side of the keyboard. While holding down the "Alt" key, type the appropriate combination of numbers, depending on which accented letter you want:

á: 160
é: 130
í: 161
ó: 162
ú: 163
ñ: 164
Ñ: 165
¿: 168
¡: 173

Use the numbers to your right of the keyboard. press and hold "alt" button and while holding it type the numbers of the corresponding letter.

ex: "alt" + 168

Sometimes you'll get wierd stuff like this: ►87

Thats only because you let go of the "Alt" button to early. Just remember not to let go until after your done typing the number in.

Alt +:

168 =¿
130=é
162=ó
160=á
163=ú
144=É
173=¡
166=ª
167=º
164=ñ
165=Ñ

I only know one off hand: alt plus 164 but it only works when you use the numbers that are on the right side, not the numbers at the top.

Dios never has an accent over the i....you would write an accent over the i if you are trying to say dio as in has given, past tense of dar.
