I just want to remove the sound from my movie clip, so it plays the movie on mute, no turning speakers off isn't an option. Anyway of doing it, any free software that does it? Thanks.

Import the video clip into Windows Movie Maker (comes free with XP), delete or mute the audio track (it automatically separates it), and re-save as a new file.

There is a program called VirtualDub that can do this easily.

For what you want to do, just launch it, open the video you want and adjut these two setting:

Under Video set direct stream copy
Under Audio select none.

Then save your project.

Um, how about turning the sounds right down on your movie player? God.
