Perk Card? As in getting perquisites for being in law enforcement? The perquisite for being in law enforcement is that you get to be shot at, beaten, spit upon, verbally abused, work long hours for relatively little pay, get called out at all hours, get second-guessed by managers/politicians/the public, miss family events, eat fast food, drink lousy coffee, and make the world a little bit safer.

My personal percs. I have been stabbed, I have been shot, I suffer from permanent migraines and I have held a 15 year old girl in my arms as she died. 7 of my brothers have lost their lives on this job. In my career this is just a few of the numerous perks I have received for doing this job. I am not complaining these are just facts. I loved my job and wish I was still working.

After ten years on the job I have been spit on, puked on, peed on, called names, punched and kicked. I also get to lose several years on my life span because of stress and shift work.
I have told a ten year old his father shot and killed his mother and then himself and have picked up skull pieces off of a floor after some guy shot himself on Christmas eve while his family was out for a walk. I had to miss my son's first judo competition last Saturday because I was dayshift, I have also missed Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter dinner many times.
I do help people everyday and enjoy my job a good part of the time.
And yes, I do get an occasional free cup of coffee.

P.E.R.C card you mean? All you have to do is request a form and fill it out. It will cost you money to get the card. If you need it for a job then the job provider should be able to get this done for you for free. Good Luck
