Bit of a weird question - does anyone know or is part of a couple where the girl is 'bigger' (e.g. chubbier, stockier, fatter) than the guy? I am interested in this guy at work, think he may be interested in me too. Except he is really skinny, and I am pretty hefty. When i wonder how we look as a couple, we just don't look right! And to be honest, i have never seen many couples where the girls are bigger than the guy (weightwise)!
Anyone have any comments?!

yeah im kinda seeing this guy n were same height but im nearly 11stone and i think he must be about 9 or 9and half. i worry bout it too but i know i shouldnt. reading this message made me feel better. i dont think it bothers the men. its us girls who obsess bout how we look! i think you should go for it. dont waste your life worrying bout "What ifs" (easier said than done i know! coz i do) but im sure you will have better life it ya dont. hope it all works out! good luck :)

Don't worry, this is not a weird question because i have thought about this in the past also. I too am a little bigger than most girls and i always worry about liking a guy that is too skinny because then it just makes me feel even bigger when I'm next to him.
However, being a couple should not depend on how you both look together, its about having a connection through your personalities, feelings and beliefs.
If you like this guy and he likes you then go for it, please don't worry about how you both look together because life is too short to not go for the things you want.

My partner of 5 yrs is thinner than I am and we have never had any problems from other poeple commenting. If you like each other it doesnt matter anyway u might end up married and he might put weight on and u might lose it and end up the other way around. If you have a chance of being with someone u like then take it and dont let looks spoil it for you.

ANSWER: Never as skinny as women think we men want and not as fat as women think they are! REASON: To be honest the normal is considered normal for a reason. I was looking at Kate Moss (excuse spelling) and I said to my girlfriend that she looked like an X-ray and that I did not find her attractive for being too skinny. I was surprised to find that my girlfriend was offended because if I like girls that are not too skinny and thus I like her it must mean I think she is fat!!! We guys like pretty girls that are not fat but not X-rays. What I mean is that many models have lost their curves. For give me for being a little macho in this answer but many models even tape their breasts to seem flat and you must know that men prefer larger breasts in women. I think the reason for this is because fashion sells the female image to women not to men, I mean the consumers are women. Thus, magazines such as Playboy and other such publications who do cater to men specifically, show much fuller “normal” women then “thoopicky” runway girls.

You go for it!! Don't worry about whether you think it may look weird or not...I certainly wouldn't think anything about it! Life is too short. If you're interested in him and it's mutual...you could both end up having a really good time together...shame to miss out on that opportunity!

I am a fairly skinny guy, my girlfriend is 'well proportioned', it makes nodifference at all. She loves me for who I am, and the feeling is mutual, in fact it was a condition of us getting together that she was interested in me as a person rather than an object of desire.
Size doesn't matter-in more ways than one.

I`m chubby where as my man is skinny it don't bother us, we are very happy he says he likes chunkier girls don't know if i like the comment but we have been together for 11 years and have 2 children he worships the ground i walk on so he says

I know of such a couple. The woman is about 15 stone and the husband at least half that. She beats the s h i t e out of him regularly. Think on.

I have knows to couples who are like that.
Yes they do get funny looks, but this is just pig ignorance on behalf of the people who gawp.
If the couple are happy then so what. Go for it.

I dont think it matters what couples look like together as long as you like what one another looks like. For example I am really small and my bf is over 6 foot, we mustn't look very matched but we are attracted to one another. Plenty of our friends who are couples don't look very 'matched' either but does it really matter??? I think you should go for it. You could find somebody who you look great in a couple with and never hit it off or be attracted to one another, or go with someone who you like who is different to you who you really like. Up to you.
