All filers with income up to $52,000 are eligible to e-file free though the 'free file' link on the IRS main page. Many filers with higher incomes can find a site though the e-file link below 'free file' and may meet the individual sites criteria to file free.

If you have any State Farm services (insurance, credit card, bank account, etc.) you can file free with turbo tax. Go to www.statefarm.com register with them to open an online account (free). You will have to enter the policy or account number for this and then sign out, go back in 24 - 48 hrs and sign in, you should have a link on the left hand side to file for free with turbotax. This is what I did.

Try Taxact.com. I made a similar amount to you and filed my federal taxes for free on that site. Good luck!
